The I/O control library is responsible for controlling all peripherals with the exception of axes. The latter are provided for by the motion library.

For digital and analogue inputs and outputs, the Indel I/O control library offers a series of classes and functions to simplify the process of reading in and outputting:

• latching of digital values
• inversion of digital values
• filtering of analogue values
• simulated setting of values
• conversion of analogue values (gain, offset)
