The Indel software stack is divided between the visual part of the machine (HMI) and the sequence control (embedded) system. This division allows time-uncritical operations to be cleanly separated from real-time-based sequence control.
The HMI can be run on any PC, panel or handheld device. An Indel CPU board handles the real-time sequence control.
This software stack has been entirely developed by Indel’s software division. It includes:
- Developer studio (IDE)
- Indel tools
- HMI frameworks
- Real-time operating system
- Embedded system frameworks
