The HMI is an integral part of every machine. Thanks to its involvement in many customer projects, Indel has extensive experience in HMI programming. This experience is passed on to Indel customers not only in the form of cooperation but also in the form of tested software frameworks.
The customer can decide to what extent to make use of these frameworks. In the minimal case, only the Indel communications layer (INCO) is used to allow communication with the embedded system. In the maximum case, the INIX framework with its graphical elements is also used. It thus remains the choice of the customer which technology to use to programme the HMI: .NET, Java, C++, PHP, etc.
The transferring of our frameworks to other platforms is generally possible without problems and has been performed many times in the past on the customer’s request. Elements of our PC software are thus also available for handheld systems (e.g. Pocket PC 2003).
