Indel has been developing software for machine control systems for more than 20 years. A machine always has a HMI, which is often run on a PC. To accelerate the development of such HMIs, Indel developed its INIX (INdel Interface eXperience) framework.
The customer can use INIX to develop a suitable HMI. This framework offers the following benefits:
- INIX is made up of many software components (plugins) that the customer can use and extend in his own software
- programming on the basis of INIX is based strongly on that of the real-time system, meaning that training time is short
- an application can be built entirely out of existing plugins that are then linked via XML and Python
- If necessary the customer programmes new plugins in C++ or has them programmed by Indel
